On February 24, 2011, Ms Wu who got burns in an accident received a free check with the help of Help Actually. Besides, we also provided assistance necessary. Our volunteers helped her to regain faith of life.

Ms Wu had an accident when she played fireworks at 10 years old, in which her left hand and feet got burned. Back then she didn’t get a proper treatment so that her burns now are itchy from time to time and skin color around the affected areas has changed. After the accident, Ms Fu turned into an introvert and is now afraid of talking to the others because of a lack of confidence.

We tried our best to help Ms Wu learn more about how to do a proper care and, most importantly, many people care for her and regain confidence to life.
