Help Actually Charity Golf Tournament Raise Funds for “Help Actually Foundation”

“Help Actually” is delighted to host its first ever “Charity Golf Tournament” on 10 September 2010 (Friday) at Mission Hills Golf Club DongGuan, to raise funds for “Help Actually Foundation”. The Assistance Foundation is going to be set up in 2011 with the aim to give direct economic support to those victims and families with low-income, or financially assist those in need of emergency medical care and make donation for articifical limbs.

Help Actually Ambassador of Love Miss Catherine Hung sent a check to the victim's family

On January 29, 2010, a 5-floor building suddenly collapsed due to its old age (built 55 years ago) in Ma Tau Wai Road, Hong Hum. TUNG Hing To, 20, unfortunately lost his life in the accident. After the tragedy, Newman Catholic College where Tong studied before held a moment of silence and a fund-raising event for Tung’s family. When Help Actually learned the news, our Chief Executive Miss Janice Cheung and Ambassador of Love Miss Catherine Hung went to the College with our volunteers and sent a cheque to the victim’s mother. We also called on continuous donations from alumnus to help the victims to start a brand-new life. Our Ambassador of Love Miss Catherine Hung said I was shocked by the news. When I knew Help actually had contacts with the mother of the youngest victim of the accident, I want to come to comfort and give the mother some support. We are hopeful that support from us can help Tong’s family. Tung’s mother was so weak after the accident that she could hardly answer any question from the press. We do hope Tong’s family can get out of the shadow soon.

Help Actually Feb 6 "Free Medical Check-up Day"

In order to assist those who got injured from accidents, "Help Actually" Association has arranged a "Free Medical Check-up Day" on February 6, 2010 (Sat). The free medical check-up day will provide an MRI Quick Scan at "Life Scan Hong Kong" MRI Centre in Central. Anyone who has been or is injured from accidents is welcomed.

Help Actually's Charity Premiere of Fame

The charity premiere event of Fame was hosted by Help Actually on 29 September 2009. There was more than 850 people joined with the event. All the fund raised by the premiere will be used for supporting the volunteer works of Help Actually.

“Help Actually" 8-12 Day free consultation for the injured

Many accidents can cause long-term physical suffering to the injured, whether in the event of industrial, traffic or household accidents. If not timely access to appropriate medical treatment, the after-effects may be more profound. The "Help Actually Wounded Aid Fund " was established on Wednesday, 12 August 2009. The five-stage Lanxiu Road 10 thin-term consultation day in the Mei Foo Sun Chuen, Kowloon, was held on the 10th day of the consultation, and in just one afternoon, more than 60 people who have had been or are injured had been admitted to the clinic free of charge, and the medical benefits and medicines were completely free of charge.
